Why did you decide to develop digital insurance?
We, at Insurance Broker Omnicar and Partners, always strive to be a step ahead of the times. We started SPOTINS.bg two years before the Covid-19 crisis as a website where clients could get consulted and order an insurance. Then we realised that clients are increasingly using digital services and decided to offer them effective, working and reliable digital insurance. Today, the most popular product on SPOTINS.bg is coverage for travel abroad. For other types of insurance, clients still habitually prefer to visit a physical office, but this is bound to change sooner or later. We have the potential to materialise this transformation.
How do you guarantee the security of clients' personal data?
Our service is free and does not require registration or installing an app. The important thing is to provide clients with information in the fastest way possible, to allow them to compare conditions and prices, and to take out insurance when it is comfortable to them. SPOTINS.bg is a communication channel between them and the insurance companies. Payment is through the BORIKA system, and the data exchange is protected with an SSL certificate. We, at SPOTINS.bg, do not keep data about the client's or their property. Data is used only for the goals of the purchase. The only contact information that we keep on SPOTINS.bg is the client's email where we are required to send notifications for dates of payment and when the insurance is ending.
