Spanish investment company Montecanal has stepped on Bulgarian soil with its first local project in Bulgaria - MonteBoyana Residential Complex, located in the Boyana neighbourhood, at the foot of Vitosha Mountain. The Ambassador of Spain, José Luis Tapia Vicente, took part in the official opening, saying that he was happy to see Monteboyana completed despite the difficult situation the market is currently in. During the event, visitors had the chance to look around some of the fully-furnished sample apartments.

MonteBoyana is a closed type residential complex, consisting of four buildings with 71 flats and studios as well as shops and undergound parking areas. These are entirely finished and have Act 16 as of last month. There is already a children's playground at the residents' disposal and a recently opened Italian restaurant, Cinecitta Osteria Italiana. The goal is to turn MonteBoyana into a preferred living area, providing its residents with goods and services of primary importance at a very close distance.
