In 2012, PANDORA jewellery line and its design team celebrate their 30th anniversary by paying tribute to the brand’s true inspiration – the women who loved and supported it over the years.
The history of PANDORA begins in 1982 with a man whose groundbreaking vision will change the future image of jewellery. In a small workshop in Copenhagen, Denmark, Per Enevodlsen and his wife Winnie were beginning to make their dream a reality. They wanted to create a new generation of high quality jewels which will be both accessible and affordable for women all over the world. No one suspected that Enevoldsen's humble neighbourhood shop will mark the beginning of a new era in contemporary jewellery making.
In its products, PANDORA combines a meticulous attention to detail from the very first sketch with a distinct Scandinavian design tradition. Although style tendencies change over time, PANDORA jewels are easily recognisable. The floral features, hearts, delicate elements and lots of feminine touches are characteristic of the brand and have endured as an inseparable part of its signature.
Today PANDORA jewellery is sold in more than 65 countries on six continents, including Bulgaria.
