As tradition goes, at the beginning of every April the National Platform for Interior Design Dibla gathers 100 of the most successful and prominent Bulgarian designers and meets them with representatives of some of the most influential and recognisable companies in the industry in the country. The event, which is one of the Platform's most successful and significant initiatives, embodies their core aspirations - to bring design closer to business, to improve communication between guild professionals in creating new partnerships with manufacturing companies in the field of interior design.
The Forum was opened during an official dinner with the presentation of the Dibla Annual Catalog The Best of Interior Design for 2018. It demonstrates the growth of Bulgarian design in an elegant and stylish manner giving publicity to the talent and achievements of the Bulgarian designers.
The main task of the National Forum is to familiarise active designers with the latest developments and trends that the most promising companies offering products and services in the field of interior will introduce during the year. With the annual Design>People forum the Platform provides a unique opportunity for the companies to improve their communication with the guild, to create new business relationships, to gain personal insights, to get feedback about their activity, and to disseminate their advertising and sample materials.
Each of the participating firms had 20 minutes to convincingly inform the audience about the advantages and features of their new products. True to their professionalism and high standards of work, the representatives attracted and most importantly kept the attention of designers and leaving a lasting and positive impressions to the audience.
The participating companies were Orgachim, BIOBoard, IKOR, Roca, KARE, Garant Home Design, Prisma, Photosynthesis, Parketen Stil, PS Bulgaria, SKV, Schneider Electric, Atlas Concorde and Diem.
Designers eagerly asked questions and participated in the discussions. They shared their experience of working with different materials, technologies, and working patterns - information that encouraged companies to further improve their products, adapt better to actual demand and market needs. The participants also showed an unprecedented interest in the various demonstration stands of the companies.
One thing is certain - the time spent in a team, united by common goals and interests, ready to share and communicate freely, is never enough.
