AMERICAN-ENGLISH ACADEMY: SCHOOL OF DREAMS

Remember those days when you would wake up and not want to set foot in your dreary old school? The new building of the American-English Academy currently under construction in Sofia is going to send this excuse into the past.

The modern campus sprawls on more than 150,000 sq. f and is specially designed to support sustainability. The complex, which will open for the 2014/2015 school year, will be certified by the United States system for green buildings and construction LEED and will contain many green features – park area, open air study areas and even its own lake.

Additionally, the buildings will have spacious roof gardens and a library with entrance to the green areas.

The school, which has a curriculum entirely in English, has various student activities which will be accommodated in a large concert hall and computerized classrooms.

Recognised by the United States National Council for Private School Accreditation and the Accreditation International, the American-English Academy teaches students from 3 years old to 12th grade by a rigorous programme that prepares them to continue in the best universities of the world.
