Interior architect Irina Konstantinova-Bontemps creates interiors with trademark Bulgarian soul and French elegance
Born in Sofia and a graduate of Interior and Furniture Design at the Forestry University, interior architect Irina Konstantinova-Bontemps created Atelier GoodTime studio for interior design and architecture in France in 2011. Since then, she has made a name for her talent and passion to create exceptional interiors, rich in atmosphere and carefully designed details.
What is the first thing you consider when you start working on an interior?
The first thing is my client: what is their need, habits, dreams and inspirations, and, of course, their budget. Then I can start drawing the space. At the same time I think of the concept of the project as each project has his own soul. All finishing materials, details, lighting, furniture and decoration are the pieces of the project's jigsaw puzzle. Everything must be consistent and nothing is there by chance. At the end, the personality of the new interior project is in harmony with the personality of the client. The best way to feel good at home.
What defines a good interior for you?
When you walk into one space, look around and you feel emotional. This is a good interior for me.
