On 9 March, Finance Academy will start an education project for improvement of financial literacy. Using accessible language and practical training by top experts, the innovative programme will help the growth of a new generation of successful investors, economists and entrepreneurs in Bulgaria.

The trainees can choose between two main educational fields: Investment and Personal Finances, and Business and Entrepreneurship. The programme is for everyone who wants to improve their knowledge on topics such as business management, strategic planning, investment, property, shares and trade.

Business expert Georgi Zahariev, founder of Finance Academy, said: "A growing number of Bulgarians start their own business. The task requires not only financial resources, but also knowledge that Bulgarian educational institutions still do not offer at a sufficient level of quality. In Bulgaria this is even harder, as its economy is among the worst affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in the EU. This is why we decided that now was the best moment to start offering quality practical training taught by professionals with rich multidisciplinary experience.

"Together with the team of Finance Academy we believe that change starts at school. This is why we will make the most important finance literacy lessons available to students and teachers in Bulgaria. Children are the main reason to start the educational project and we are proud to be the first in Bulgaria to offer such knowledge for free."

At the end of the training students will be able to exchange knowledge by presenting their ideas before investors and demonstrating their skills to evaluate business perspectives.

Application and training will be entirely online, on the academy's website. Application is open until 9 March on financeacademy.bg.
