COHERENT SOLUTIONS: PASSION FOR EXCELLENCE

As a leading global company in software development and consultancy, Coherent Solutions logically arrived on the Bulgarian market four years ago to make the most of the potential of local talents. In the time that has passed since then, Coherent Solutions Bulgaria grew and expanded, established its reputation among clients and talents alike, and became one of the symbols of successful development in the country. We talked with Boyan Antonov, General Manager of the software company for Bulgaria, on what was achieved in these years and the company's plans for the future.

Coherent Solutions has been in Bulgaria since 2018. What is your recapitulation for the past four years?

In these four years we experienced the challenge to work in an environment and during hardships that no one in the world had anticipated or was prepared for - starting with the Covid-19 pandemic and ending with the war in Ukraine. Despite this, I can describe these years as very successful for Coherent Solutions both in Bulgaria and globally. In Bulgaria, we developed and established our organisation as a company with values, good atmosphere and wonderful people. We built and defended our reputation as a good employer. I would say that we also became a recognisable brand and name. Our team grew to 170 people and continues to grow. All of this is the result of the significant efforts and the desire of our colleagues in the administration and management, and the efforts of each colleague working on a project.

This May you expanded your office. What do you plan to happen in the new space?

Our Bulgarian branch experienced something very interesting - during a period of isolation and lockdowns we expanded our physical office twice. In May 2022 we moved to its newest part, where besides new work spaces we established a zone for relaxation and social activities. The zone invites for both everyday use by our colleagues for relaxation and entertainment, and for events targeted to the outside world such as conferences, meetups and other events of the IT community. We also plan to restart our Open Door Visit initiative, in which the company opens its doors and shares with the wider world our culture and MO. But before everything else, we plan an internal opening, a party in the new space.

On what will the company focus on in 2022?

Just like in 2021, this year, too, Coherent Solutions continues to grow in all of its eight locations around the world. There is an active plan of opening offices in three new countries. In Bulgaria we are focused on sustainable growth, attraction of new clients and colleagues, and development of our training centre. All of this is happening while preserving the atmosphere of a small company. Not as a focus, but more as everyday work, remain the things that make us a wonderful place for our colleagues to work and grow.
