Melody Music School is such a player. It was established in Sofia in 2019 by Ilian Stanoev, a Bulgarian who opened his first music school in Russia when he was just 19 years old. The school he set quickly became a success, and remains one. This is why Ilian Stanoev, who graduated in the meantime in finance, decided to bring the working model to Bulgaria. He won for the cause as manager Iva Stoyanova, who herself started learning music when she was 5, graduated in music and now specialises in public relations. With their united efforts, Melody Music School is growing quickly and has the potential to triple its business volume in the second half of 2021.

How is this possible? Melody Music School offers high quality supply to a very real demand: professional, affordable and customised lessons in piano, guitar, singing and drum, and early music education to everyone interested in music – from toddlers to students of all ages, to adults. In 2020 alone Melody had over 400 happy, satisfied students and over 150,000 BGN inflow.
Melody Music School's ability to adapt and to promote its business is impressive. It quickly reorganised to online education in 2020, hired musicians affected by lockdown unemployment, developed partnerships with the state institutions and municipalities and organised a concert of its students to advertise its activities. Its ambitious goal to gain 22% of the Sofia and online education market, or over 4,400 students and 1,7 million euro of annual turnover with 30% profits, is not a fantasy. It is completely achievable – with the help of visionary investors and private schools eager to include Melody Music School lessons in its curriculum.
