All successful software companies are deservedly proud with the way they managed to continue working during the Covid-19 lockdowns. New Line Technologies is a software development company that is deservedly proud with much more. Until 24 February 2022, it was business as usual in its offices in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Then Russia invaded and Kharkiv found itself uncomfortably close to the battlefield. Despite the shock, hardship and trauma, the team of New Line Technologies kept working, and providing quality mobile and web solutions to its clients. The ties with its offices abroad, such as Plovdiv in Bulgaria, grew stronger and proved crucial for the company's success. We talked to the founder of New Line Technologies, Andrew Mazepa, to learn more about the firm and its extraordinary team.

After over a year of war in Ukraine for us, outsiders, it seems incredible that there are still working companies in a city so close to the frontlines like Kharkiv. How does New Line Technologies keep up its operations under these extraordinary circumstances?

Since the beginning of the war, our company has faced significant challenges. Over the past year, our team has had to endure a great deal, from the need to protect their lives to the need to adapt to new realities. The safety of our employees has always been our top priority. Therefore, when the situation in Kharkiv was very turbulent in the early days of the invasion, we stopped working from the office, and some of our employees used the lower floors of the building as a shelter. The office in Plovdiv became a significant safety net for us, and most of our employees and their families moved to Bulgaria.

Now, our team has fully restored its efficiency to pre-war levels. We are working on current projects and seeking new ones. The company has recently demonstrated its ability to adapt to crises and rapidly changing circumstances. We were able to implement remote work successfully, as the Covid-19 crisis has already shown. The company's ability to navigate the challenges posted by the ongoing conflict is a testament to the adaptability and strength of our business model. It also reflects the dedication and hard work of the employees of New Line Technologies, who have undoubtedly overcome significant obstacles to keep the business running smoothly.

How does your company innovate?

New Line Technologies has been at the forefront of innovation for over a decade. Our company is involved in cutting-edge projects, and our team's unique knowledge has helped our customers create more than 10 patents in the United States. We specialize in multimedia processing and fintech, and we remain committed to improving our skills and staying up-to-date with global innovations.

Our goal is to continue developing and expanding our expertise while showcasing our team's high level of expertise in areas we already know well. We have analyzed our previous work and the experience we have gained, and we are currently in a stage of improvement.

What is the key principle that New Line Technologies adheres to?

Regarding Plovdiv, it's a beautiful and vibrant city with a rich history and culture. It has a growing tech industry, and there are many initiatives to develop and support innovation and entrepreneurship in the region. Overall, I think both cities offer unique opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs, and it's exciting to see the growth and potential in these areas. We are very pleased with the choice of the city.
