The author's collections of Oriental Art are inspired by the variety and typical decorative elements of Egypt, Japan, India, Persia, Turkey and other countries. The series Euridice, Chiprovtsi, Mesembria, Apollonia and Odessos are dedicated to the Bulgarian traditions in this field.
Each piece from the rich catalogue of Oriental Art is hand-made in small series, with love for the used materials, a sense for their potential and a careful execution of even the tiniest detail.
Who is behind each little masterpiece with the brand Oriental Art? The founders, Dean and Albena, started travelling to places such as Thailand, India, Vietnam, Cambodia and Nepal as early as the 1990s. The richness of the colours and the shapes typical for these countries and cultures stayed in their hearts, turned into passion and a careful research of local artisanal traditions, and with time grew into a successful business.
Today, Oriental Art gives us the affordable opportunity to make our lives a part of an Eastern fairy tale, and to enjoy the colours of distant countries even when we are incapable of visiting them in person.
