Boutique hotels, guesthouses, a sports centre for ladies, an event centre for exclusive events: different types of hospitality businesses work with D&L Management. In this highly competitive field, the consultancy company shows them how to offer better services and be more recognisable on the Internet. The founder of D&L Management, Lyuba Misheva, adapted the company's focus to more digital services and digital marketing in 2020, in the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis. Today she knows that she made the right decision. Together with her colleagues they combine their hospitality experience with the acquired digital skills, and the websites created by the company, the accompanying digital services and the satisfied clients give her the confidence that they are moving in the right direction.

How did you overcome the challenge set by the Covid-19 pandemic to the hospitality sector?

We expanded our portfolio with services with focus on the online and digital experience, as well as services for websites concept and development, management of business profiles on social media, and digital marketing. Our professional goal remains to help hotels and restaurants to increase the quality of their services and to help their processes for strategic and operational development. 

What should a quality hotel or restaurant website look like?

Digital experience has become a part of what consumers seek. The layout, the message and the customer's first touchpoint point with the website should help them understand why this business is different and unique, and to choose it among others. The website should add value and stand out with a personal story or message. As the first impression is key, we aim as early as the conceptual stage to identify the best and most inspiring message that will make the consumer "explore" the website, subscribe for its newsletter or follow it on social media. 

What are the next necessary steps?

We identify the business and website's goals, the scope and necessary pages and functionalities, and make a timetable for their construction. Then we prepare the website's wireframe, and now its content and functionalities will be interconnected. Then comes the content creation phase - we always consider search engines optimisation (SEO). Authentic content is instrumental for the next stage of the process: the visual presentation. 

The content is the most important part of the process and should meet two criteria: to engage the customers and to inspire them to act. Original content increases the website's visibility for search engines. We always take time to analyse and "understand" the results that we get in order to improve the functionalities of our websites. We also discuss the date with the Clients.

What is the most important thing in communication with the Client?

We work with clients in Bulgaria and abroad and have the needed experience. We insist on always being proper with our Clients. We want to hear, analyse and understand their vision, point of view and business needs. At the same time, we are led by the website’s functionality and technical requirements, and the novelties in the field. This is a two-way process, so working in a team is crucial for ending with a visually pleasing product with the right message, goal and topicality.

Как се справихте с предизвикателството, пред което пандемията от Covid-19 изправи хоспиталити сферата?

Разширихме портфолиото си с услуги, с фокус върху онлайн и дигитално преживяване, както и към услуги за цялостна концепция и разработка на уебсайт, поддръжка на бизнес профили в социалните медии и дигитален маркетинг. Професионалната ни цел остава да помагаме на хотели и ресторанти да повишават качеството на услугите си и да подпомагаме процесите по тяхното стратегическо и оперативно развитие.

Как трябва да изглежда качественият уебсайт на хотел или ресторант?

Дигиталното преживяване вече е част от потребителското търсене. Визията, посланието и първата точка на досег на потребителя с уебсайта трябва да му помагат да разбере какво е различното и уникалното в този бизнес, защо да избере точно него. Уебсайтът трябва да има допълнителна стойност, лична история и послание, което го отличава от конкуренцията. И понеже първото впечатление е ключово, се стремим още на етап концепция да открием най-точното и вдъхновяващо послание, което да накара потребителя да "изследва" сайта, да се абонира за нюзлетър или да последва профила в социална медия.

Какви стъпки са нужни след това?

Определяме целите на бизнеса и уебсайта, на обхвата и необходимите страници и функционалности, и на графика за изграждането им. След това създаваме карта на сайта (wireframe) и как съдържанието и функциите ще са взаимосвързани. Съдържанието идва след това – и винаги имаме предвид оптимизацията за търсачките (SEO). Достоверното съдържание е от съществено значение – с него се работи на следващия етап: визуалното представяне.

Съдържанието е най-важната стъпка от процеса и трябва да отговаря на два критерия: да води до ангажираност и действие от страна на потребителите. Оригиналното съдържание повишава видимостта на сайта за търсачките. Отделяме време да анализираме и "разберем" получените данни, за да подобряваме функционалностите на нашите уебсайтове. Обсъждаме получените данни с Клиентите.

Кое е най-важното в комуникацията с Клиента?

Работим с клиенти в България и чужбина и имаме необходимия опит. Държим да сме винаги коректни с Клиентите ни. Искаме да чуем, анализираме и разберем тяхната визия, гледна точка и бизнес нужди. Същевременно се водим от функционалността, техническите изисквания и новостите в сферата. Процесът е двупосочен, затова е важно да се работи в екип, за да се постигне визуално привлекателен продукт с точно послание, цел и актуалност.
