Since 2018 it also has a Bulgarian office. We talk to Plamena Bourgoudjieva, CEO of Softline Bulgaria, about the company's future, ambition, products and services.
What are your goals as the new head of Softline Bulgaria?
Since our market entry in Bulgaria, Softline's revenue, profit, customers, and employees have been growing steadily. My goal is to preserve this growth, and to make Softline a dominant IT solutions and services provider in Bulgaria. My ambition is to offer the best in class, tailored digital transformation and cybersecurity services to our customers with a highly experienced team of professionals.
Why is Softline an excellent and reliable partner in digital transformation?
Softline was established over 25 years ago, and operates currently in most geographical regions. It provides a great balance of local market knowledge and global expertise in Bulgaria. Our local colleagues know our market and have a good understanding of our customers specific needs. Our international team has expertise in various economies, industries and technologies, and can share their extensive knowledge. The local and global teams together can recommend and deliver unique best practice services, which fit to every company's unique requirements.
In Eastern Europe, including Bulgaria, Softline also stands out with the depth and breadth of our services portfolio. Our goal is to become a trusted partner for our customers, and support them all the way through their digital transformation. We don't want to simply transact and sell various licenses – we want to improve our clients business processes and results. We offer assessment of the current environment, planning the journey to reach the desired state and provide deployment, adoption and change management services to ensure that the technology investment delivers the best RoI.
How do your cloud-based solutions help companies to thrive and grow?
Cloud solutions have many benefits like scalability, flexibility, ease of management, cost efficiency. Our work with our clients always starts with understanding their problems and requirements so we can offer a solution or service that benefits them the most. We offer well-known, widely used solutions, but with our adoption and change management services our customers can leverage such features that optimise their business processes.
We can also provide custom built applications that solve urgent business issues. Our new "office desk reservation" app, for example, is for customers who want to keep proper distance among employees at the office on a given day.
Automation can increase efficiency, productivity and production quality. It can be used in all aspects of business: an AI and Machine Learning based production line monitoring system can help to detect defected products or malfunction of the machines.
These are just examples of our cloud-based portfolio, but I believe they demonstrate well how they can help in every area of a business.
