WHERE IN BULGARIA ARE YOU?
Located in the northern reaches of the Rila, this peak of 2,729 metres above sea level is the symbol of Bulgarian rock climbing and mountaineering.
It has several well-known climbing walls ranging in height from 100 to 400 metres, and it also provides opportunities for skiing. In summertime, the imposing peak is a major trekking destination. It is the namesake for a craig on Livingstone Island, in the South Shetlands, Antarctica.
