ZABARDO HUNTING PRESERVE: AMONG THE BEAUTY OF THE RHODOPE
Zabardo Hunting Preserve is in the heart of the beautiful Rhodope mountains
It is located 60 kms from Plovdiv, where is the closest airport, and 15 kms from Chepelare. The altitude is between 800 and 1,500 m.
The preserve has a hunting base with 8 rooms, sauna and dining room. Besides hunting, in the preserve are offered recreational fishing, horse riding and photo safaris.
Nearby are the Wondrous Bridges nature phenomenon, Pamporovo resort and Narechenski Bani spa center.
The region's game variety includes: boar, red deer, roe deer, fallow deer, mouflon, bezoar ibex, Barbary sheep, hare, wolf, fox. At Zabardo Hunting Preserve lives Bulgaria's only population of Himalayan tahr which has bred successfully for more than seven years.
We aim to offer good conditions for both hunting and stay. We pay special attention to preparing traditional local dishes with clean products mainly from the preserve's region.
