You work as a coach with professionals from all over Europe. Are there any cultural specifics you need to consider? What unites these professionals regardless of their background?

As a coach, I always place the individual at the heart of my approach. I believe that despite cultural differences, people share common needs and values. The cultural context matters, but for me, the leading principle remains the individual approach and a deep understanding of the person. I have experience coaching English-speaking expatriates, Bulgarians, Germans, and professionals from around the world. In talent acquisition, I engage with people from diverse cultures, aiming to combine cultural specifics with universal human aspirations.

Despite their differences, all these professionals have a drive for authenticity, personal growth, and greater impact in both career and personal life. What connects them is the aspiration to understand themselves better and to lead with clarity and purpose.

How do you connect your coaching work with your experience in talent acquisition?

My work as a coach is a natural extension of my experience in talent acquisition. Recruitment gives me a strategic perspective – understanding what organisations and leaders need. Coaching adds depth – how to support people and teams in unlocking their potential and contributing to sustainable growth. These two areas complement each other: one focuses on recognising talent, while the other is about developing it.

This is how EvolveTalent® came to life – a space where I combine my recruitment expertise with a coaching approach. Driven by the desire to connect people and opportunities with care and understanding, I created an environment where growth is intentional and human. Later, I founded BraveHER, an initiative for women's leadership and mutual support where women grow together – professionally and personally.

What is the most important quality of a good coach?

One of the most important qualities in a coach is the ability to really listen, tuning in to nuances, energy, and the unspoken. Genuine listening involves understanding the person's story and context – essential for building trust and partnership. Clients should feel free to explore their identities without fear of judgment.

This space of safety and authenticity is the foundation for transformation – not only about setting goals but about awareness and new choices. A good coach does not provide ready-made solutions but supports the client in discovering their own answers that lead to sustainable growth. Additionally, a coach must also commit to their own development and self-awareness. In my practice, I follow the ethical and professional standards set by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), which provide a clear framework for quality, responsibility, and respect for the client.

Като коуч винаги поставям личността на първо място. Вярвам, че въпреки културните различия, хората споделят общи нужди и ценности. Културният контекст е важен, но за мен водещ остава индивидуалният подход и дълбокото разбиране на личността. Имам опит с англоговорящи експати, българи, германци и специалисти от цял свят. В подбора на таланти общувам с хора от различни култури и се стремя да съчетавам тези специфики с универсалните човешки стремежи.

Независимо от различията, всички имат стремеж към автентичност, развитие и по-голямо въздействие – и в кариерата, и в личен план. Най-силната връзка между тях е желанието да се разбират по-добре и да водят с яснота и смисъл.

Как обвързвате работата си като коуч с опита Ви в подбора на таланти?

Коучингът е естествено продължение на дългогодишния ми опит в подбора. Подборът ми дава стратегическия поглед – какво търсят организациите и лидерите. Коучингът добавя дълбочината – как да подкрепя хората и екипите да разгърнат потенциала си и да допринесат за устойчивото развитие на компанията. Двете дейности се допълват органично: едната е разпознаване на таланта, другата – неговото развитие.

Така създадох EvolveTalent® – пространство, в което съчетавам опита си в подбора с коучинг подхода. Водена от желанието да свързвам хора и възможности с грижа, автентичност и дълбоко разбиране за потенциала във всеки, създадох среда, където развитието е целенасочено, но и човешко. Впоследствие основах и BraveHER – инициатива за женско лидерство и взаимна подкрепа, в която жените растат заедно – професионално и личностно.

Кое е най-важното качество на добрия коуч?

Едно от най-важните качества е способността да слуша – да улавя нюансите, енергията и всичко неизказано. Истинското слушане означава разбиране на историята и контекста на човека – ключово за изграждане на доверие и партньорство. Клиентът трябва да се чувства свободен да изследва себе си, без страх от оценка.

Това пространство на сигурност и автентичност е основата на трансформацията – не само поставяне на цели, а осъзнаване и нови избори. Добрият коуч не дава готови решения, а подкрепя клиента да открие собствените си отговори, които водят до устойчиво развитие. Коучът също преминава през процес – ангажиран е със своето развитие и лична осъзнатост. В практиката си се ръководя от стандартите на Международната коучинг федерация (ICF), които задават рамка за качество, отговорност и уважение към клиента.
