The winery has the most modern technology and equipment provided by world leading manufacturers. This allows the combination of traditions and modern winemaking practices to produce high-end boutique wines.
The nature of the Korten wines is based on the harmony between man and nature. The aim of the winemakers is to utilise to the maximum the natural processes in order to get some authentic and natural wines with distinct varietal character and demonstration of the terroir, thus demonstrating the entire experience, philosophy and creative signature.
Some of the most renown Bulgarian winemakers – Kapka Georgievа and Rosen Georgiev head the oenological and technological team that manages the vineyards and produces the wine.
University educated and trained in fine winemaking in Bulgaria, France and Australia, abiding by the best world practises, constantly experimenting and innovating, the team has dedicated more than two decades of their professional life to create some of the best and most awarded Bulgarian wines. As they profess, they continue to work together in persistent search for absolute finesse and harmony in every detail of the taste of the wine they create.

The character of the KORTEN NATURA wines is based on man's harmony with nature.
The goal of the wine makers is to use natural processes to the greatest possible extent to obtain authentic and natural wines with outstanding varietal characteristics and well expressed terroir that embodies their entire proficiency, philosophy and unique touch.
The philosophy of the team and the winery is based on the belief that the creation of great wines begins right from the vineyard. The work in the vineyards is an important element when following an already established technology. The opportunities for innovation and technology are not limitless from scientific, technical and technological point of view, so the attention of the modern winemaker is increasingly directed towards the vineyard. The Korten team monitors at vineyard level whether the most important steps for creating great wines have been followed, namely, regulation of the yield, strength of growth and leaf mass, which elements are considered against the background of the character of the year and the soil moisture reserve.
