In 2026, Qvadrant A marks its 10th anniversary – a decade in which the studio has established itself as a reliable partner in two core areas: comprehensive architectural design and project management, including coordination of detailed design and oversight of construction processes. From the beginning, the company has positioned itself firmly within the B2B sector, working predominantly with corporate clients who require standardized procedures, clear documentation, and stringent quality control.

Qvadrant A's founder, architect Miryana Yovcheva, shares more.

What is your assessment of the past ten years?

These ten years represent a period of focused professional growth. We have built a studio with a distinct identity and a strong internal culture: precision in every detail, consistency in processes, and long-term partnerships based on trust.

Architect Miryana Yovcheva

Qvadrant A has evolved from a small team into a project organization capable of managing complex infrastructure, office, and retail developments. Our greatest achievement is that clients continue to return to us – a true measurement of the value we bring.

Which architectural projects have become the signature of your studio?

Several projects best represent who we are today:

  • The reconstruction of operational zones at Varna and Burgas Airports, where we worked in high-security environments with uninterrupted operations and strict aviation requirements.
  • Office and service buildings for diplomatic missions in Uganda and Nigeria, where our role was highly specific and demanding. We managed the entire detailed design process, coordinated international teams, and resolved technical and organizational challenges daily during construction. Working within environments governed by protocol and strict security standards significantly strengthened our experience in complex non-EU projects.
  • Conversion and refurbishment of large retail formats, where we maintain longstanding B2B partnerships and operate within clearly defined corporate guidelines, brand standards, and execution timelines.

These projects highlight our ability to work effectively both in international contexts and within the Bulgarian corporate environment, always applying high professional standards.

What distinguishes the architectural work of Qvadrant A?

Our work is defined by three key qualities:

1. Structured, reliable project management: Clear processes, scheduling, risk control, and multidisciplinary coordination ensure predictable outcomes.

2. A strong B2B focus: We work within corporate frameworks, adhering to brand guidelines, technical standards, security protocols, and approval processes.

3. Contemporary, functional design: Our architecture maintains clean lines, clarity of function, and long-term sustainability, reflecting and reinforcing our clients' corporate identities.

When designing office spaces, how do you create environments that reflect the spirit of the organization?

We start with people, not floorplans. We conduct interviews and analyze workflow, internal processes, team structure, and brand identity.

This allows us to translate the organization's culture into a spatial experience.

The offices we design combine:

  • functional zoning aligned with real workflows;
  • ergonomic and acoustic comfort;
  • lighting and materials that express the brand;
  • strict compliance with corporate workspace guidelines.

The result is a workplace that supports productivity, communication, and a strong sense of belonging.

Why is collaboration with Qvadrant A – from concept to completion – the most reliable guarantee of an excellent final result?

Because we provide a full project lifecycle: conceptual design, detailed design coordination, author supervision, and management of the construction process.

This approach is essential in the B2B environment, where quality, timing, and accountability are critical.

By staying involved throughout all stages, we eliminate gaps between phases, prevent information loss, and protect the integrity of the architectural vision.

Clients receive predictability, control, and a final product that aligns precisely with the intended design – functionally, technically, and aesthetically.
