AVA Partners has a new office. What inspired this change?

We are never short of inspiration for new projects and opportunities. This is the foundation of our decision to create a new, larger space fitting for our ambition to unleash the full potential of our expanding activities. There, we plan to implement new products while keeping the high quality of our existing portfolio.

This April AVA Partners celebrated 15 years since it stepped on the market. How did the company change in these years?

We believe that our capability to change and transform is a core part of our adaptation to the completely new environment in which we all seek a way to flourish and realise our ideas. It is hardly a secret that change is omnipresent. The faster we learn about it, the faster we are going to find solutions to all types of situations. The particular changes in AVA Partners is that we increased the competence of our consultants and broadened our experience in different aspects of our activities. Our desire to offer even better quality in order to help all of our clients keeps on growing. Our outstanding qualities are our individual approach and the understanding of the specifics of each client company. At present, some of our clients have been with us since our first months of existence. Together, we are building a better tomorrow.

What was the biggest change in the field of accounting and finance that you witnessed in this period?

The position of operational accountant lost its meaning and practically disappeared. There is no point of having such a position anymore.

Your team has impressive experience in consulting international companies. Can you tell us more about the professionals at AVA Partners and how did they gain their experience?

They have honed their professional expertise mostly through reading, hard work and dedication to each detail. At AVA Partners work highly qualified experts with scientific background and lecturers in different international programmes. We have professionals with experience in international companies for finance and accountancy, and auditing. Our team also includes highly specialised psychotherapists with experience in different therapy modalities. We have a gestalt therapist who is an associated member of the Bulgarian Association of Gestalt Therapists, a hypnotherapist who is a member of the Bulgarian Association of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy, a certified practitioner of the method of Fred Gallo – Advanced Energy Psychology – EdxTM – Elena Dimitrova Angelova.

Which are your most popular services with your foreign clients?

Registration and services for foreign legal entities under the Bulgarian VAT Act, consultation on labour law related matters regarding foreign citizens, tax compliance for Bulgarian and foreign individuals and legal entities.

And among your Bulgarian clients?

Preparation of annual tax returns, defence during tax inspections and auditing, VAT refunds, accounting compliance. And also, how to legally get around the law to the benefit of the taxpayer.
