LetKnow Pay is a reliable partner to any venture and enterprise that wants to stay ahead of the curve. The EU-regulated crypto payment service allows smooth integration and reliable transfers of currencies, defined by robust technical support and excellent customer service.

So far, hundreds of merchants and service providers across the world have transitioned to cryptocurrency-based operations with the help of LetKnow Pay and its professionals. The company's bespoke payment gateway features Alternative Payment Methods (APMs), which support the processing of payments via Crypto to Fiat, Crypto to Crypto, and USDT API methods. LetKnow Pay's proprietary payment gateway infrastructure offers comprehensive solutions for both onramp and offramp transactions. With seamless integration options for CRM and cashier systems, and direct API integration supported by strong technical assistance, the company ensures a smooth and efficient experience for its users.

Now, LetKnow Pay is making another bold step in Bulgaria. Aiming at reinvigorating the local blockchain and crypto market, by providing more reliable and trustworthy solutions and services, it has restored the Bulgarian Blockchain Association.

We decided to discuss this and other topics with the company's CEO, Tim Ferland.

Mr Ferland, what exactly is LetKnow Pay? What is the essence of your services?

LetKnow Pay is an award-winning proprietary technology solution, called a payment gateway. Payment gateways are not something new (PayPal for example), but using crypto currency as the core payment mechanism is something new within this past decade. We have built our own platform infrastructure and connected that to liquidity providers, compliance services, customer platforms and financial institutions to make a fully sustainable ecosystem to make payment processing a simple and cost-effective process. Merchants can be paid by their customers in crypto, but they will receive the fiat equivalent of that payment through our instant API exchange, and they can move those funds to their traditional bank at any time – just like with credit card payments, but without the chargebacks and fraud risks.

LetKnow Pay has one of the highest rankings of AML compliance in the industry and boasts an award-winning technical and customer support team who ensures that the platform and all our services are aligned with our strategic goals and corporate mission to become the best and most trustworthy service provider. Compliance is not just about meeting regulatory demands though. Fraud prevention and security are top priorities for LetKnow Pay; and we have been extremely successful in protecting our customers from scammers and fraudsters who attempt to find ways to steal from them.

What types of clients would benefit the most from your services and expertise?

In the start of our business, we mainly provided services to customers in higher risk industries where financial institutions were more restrictive for providing cost-effective services to those businesses. Crypto currency payments are a great work-around for those businesses.

We still very proudly serve our existing customers, however, the new direction LetKnow Pay is moving toward is more in the area of retail e-commerce businesses. Strategically, we are focusing on the hospitality and restaurant industries to start, but we are also opening discussions with airlines and car leasing companies to introduce them to the option of accepting crypto as a payment options from their customers.

We have developed our own POS payment terminal and online purchase link, which makes accepting crypto as easy as paying with a credit card. So we see a lot of growth in the e-commerce area, as well as traditional brick-and-mortar retail businesses.

What keeps you optimistic about the future of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies?

The fact that they are still growing and evolving. New blockchains are being built all the time and more uses for those are being discovered and explored. Trustless networks are the future because institutions like banks have abused trust for too long and consumers are happy to find alternatives that do not rely on that method of doing business.

What are the most exciting trends in these fields nowadays?

Watching the growth and acceptance of crypto currencies as viable currency options on a national/governmental level is one of the most exciting things. Especially when those decisions are not related to centrally controlled digital currencies like the digital EUR or digital USD, which are simply desperate attempts from the Central Banks to continue to control and manipulate the currencies of their regions. Seeing El Salvador adopt BTC as legal tender that can be used for every-day purchases and watching President Trump bring cryptos into the mix of strategic currency reserves for the USA are very exciting for the evolution and future of crypto currencies.

Suluo Daunivalu, owner and board member of LetKnow Pay

Mr Daunivalu, why did LetKnow Pay decide to breathe new life in the Bulgarian Blockchain Association? What do you aim to accomplish with this step?

The Balkans – and Bulgaria in particular – offer a highly strategic location, acting as a bridge between EU and non-EU markets, making them an ideal base for fintech and blockchain expansion. The region has a growing tech ecosystem, with a strong pool of skilled professionals, competitive operational costs, and a vibrant start-up culture.

Bulgaria has also been an early adopter of blockchain, with communities open to innovation and experimentation. For LetKnow Pay, this makes the Balkans a natural strategic hub for expanding services across Southeast Europe, building partnerships, and driving innovation.

Let Know Pay prides itself on the power of advocacy on behalf of businesses. Over the past few years, the blockchain and cryptocurrency industries in Bulgaria have been somewhat silenced – in part due to mainstream financial institutions' fears of competition. At the same time, the uncertainty around MICA legislation and its enforcement has left many holding their breath. By reviving the Bulgarian Blockchain Association, we want to give these industries a voice and a "seat at the table" with decision makers, drawing the attention and time of regulators and legislators.

Being involved in these industries ourselves, it is a natural fit for us to want that voice as well. Beyond business growth, this effort is about fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and constructive dialogue with regulators – ultimately contributing to job creation, skill development, and deeper integration of the region into the global blockchain economy.
