Why did you choose to specialise in residential interiors?
Many of the vital activities for any society – inhabitation, preservation and recovery of people's minds and bodies, take place in residential buildings and interiors.
I opted for the narrow specialisation of Studio Specifica in residential interiors because I believe that the better I know the environment in all of its details and components, its functionality and ergonomic requirements, the better solution I would be able to provide to the client in regard to their needs.
You choose and work with natural and environmentally friendly materials. On what principles do you select which one you are going to use?
We aim to use more natural and environmentally friendly materials for two reasons. First, to create a healthier and more beneficial environment in the home.
Second, to take care of nature and what we are going to leave to the future generations. The selection process is based on the style and the limitations of the particular project, and the final choice of materials is based on the price that the client is ready to pay.
