Good ideas, creativity, arts, crafts, entertaining and useful activities, united in the name of a meaningful cause that supports the children: from 26 May to 2 June, in peak rose picking season, Château Copsa will give а stage to Bulgarian traditions, wine and arts.

The event will begin with rose picking, considered one of the oldest traditions in the Bulgarian lands, and will continue with a creative pop-up exhibition of contemporary artists, crafts and workshops, exquisite gourmet cuisine and wine tastings. There will be other interesting experiences that will mark great memories to all guests and visitors.

The core mission of Copsa Open Art Fest is to promote Bulgarian art, rose-growing and winemaking, and the Valley of Roses to a wider audience of tourists. The temporary exhibition with art by contemporary Bulgarian artists will inspire visitors of all ages and will give a chance to young local students to meet exciting artists and get closer to the real stories behind.

Copsa Open Art Fest will be held within the framework of one of the most colorful festivals in Bulgaria – the Rose Festival that has been celebrated for over a century now.

The ancient ritual of picking roses and extracting oil from them marks the beginning of a week-long celebration in the towns of Karlovo and Kazanlak.

In Karlovo, you can visit places where the pink petals are processed according to ancient custom and modern technology and you will enjoy a themed bazaar with local products made of Bulgarian rose. You can also participate in rose picking and indulge in tasting selected Château Copsa wines. Music and fine cuisine will also be a part of the festival experience.
