What is the core mission of Karolina Academy for Personal Development?
The mission of Karolina Academy for Personal Development is to help people overcome childhood traumas, past and present, and discover their true purpose. We believe that every person has inexhaustible potential that can only be realised if they recognise their strengths and weaknesses and actively work on themselves. Our aim is for people to see their time at the Academy not only as a therapeutic process but also as an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and what is holding them back from being loved, successful and fulfilled individuals.
How can you help us rediscover ourselves and our lives?
At the Academy we focus on key personal development strategies that help our clients build their inner strength. We conduct individual and family counselling, both in person and online, in Bulgarian and English. We organise a variety of training sessions and courses for personal growth. Each session is tailored to the needs of the individual, as each person has a unique past and present.
We work on topics such as changing our mindset and perception of life, overcoming emotional trauma from the past, achieving goals and overcoming difficulties in decision making. We help clients build confidence, overcome shyness and deal with the effects of abuse, panic attacks and phobias, as well as eating disorders and self-harm. We help them heal from loss and cope with major life transitions. We also offer essential women's wellness practices.
For many of our clients, improving their financial situation and promoting positive thinking is an important part of our work. We help clients to build healthy partnerships and happy families, maintain strong parent-child relationships, resolve sexual issues and break free from destructive relationships.
Why do you offer a therapeutic course for children?
Psychological insecurity can begin in childhood – we often work with people whose problems stem from their early years. The lack of understanding and the inability to express their feelings during this period often leads to an accumulation of negative emotions which have a significant impact on their decisions in adulthood.
Children are naturally open and easily express themselves. With patience and attention, many of their insecurities and problems can be resolved at an early stage. Through this approach, we aim to build a stronger foundation for children's future development, helping them to meet life's challenges and grow into confident and happy individuals.
