Niya Mihaylova is an HR professional with a background in psychology and over 15 years of experience in human resources, dedicated to talent development and aligning people with organisations.

What does the labour market in Bulgaria look like at the moment?

Businesses are increasingly facing a mismatch between the skills in demand and those available, against a backdrop of demographic decline and high expectations for development.

How do you adapt to it?

Why did you choose the Dutch model for people management?

It is one of the most successful European models for flexible employment and sustainable people management. It combines trust, clear rules and a balance between employers and employees, while encouraging autonomy, communication and efficiency. Since 2005, it has been adapted to the Bulgarian context and remains a foundation for stable teams and long-term partnerships.
