WINNERS OF THE DIBLA DESIGN AWARDS 2024 FOR INTERIOR DESIGN


The Dibla Design Awards 2024 ceremony brought together nearly 1,000 guests at the Inter Expo Center to witness the announcement of the winners of Bulgaria's annual interior design awards

Nearly 100 outstanding projects were judged by an international jury of leading local and foreign experts in the field. The event attracted business representatives, investors, clients and key partners of the Dibla platform, cementing its status as one of the most important events in the industry.

Grand Winner

The most prestigious award, Designer of the Year, went to DA Architects. With their innovative vision and outstanding projects, the studio has established itself as a leader in interior design, creating spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

Retail / Showroom / Exhibition Space

This category recognises commercial spaces that successfully combine functionality, aesthetics and brand identity. The winning projects demonstrate an innovative approach to customer experience and effective presentation of products and services. First place was awarded to IPA for the Bosch Multifunctional Hall.

Office / Workplace Environment

Modern office spaces reflect evolving workplace trends. The winning projects in this category present innovative solutions for productivity, adaptability, and comfort, aligned with principles of sustainability and corporate culture. The winner is DA Architects for Novo Nordisk Sofia.

Venues

Interior design in venues plays a key role in shaping the overall customer experience. The winning projects demonstrate a balance between aesthetics, comfort and functionality, creating an inviting atmosphere for social interaction. The judges awarded first place to Cast Studio for the Rooftop Bar & Lounge Sky Bonsai Bar.

Restaurant

This category celebrates interiors that seamlessly combine attention to detail, ambience, and ergonomics to create a memorable dining experience. The design emphasises both aesthetics and the efficient organisation of space. First place went to Kraftekdesign for IN A BUN.

Hotel

Design in the hospitality sector is a fusion of aesthetics, functionality, and warmth. The winning projects are characterised by thoughtful space planning, comfort and a unique character for each accommodation. The first prize was awarded to Simple Architecture for Hotel Hello Plovdiv.

Medical, Dental & Beauty Centres

Projects in this category adhere to strict standards of sterility, ergonomics, and trustworthiness while fostering a serene and elegant atmosphere that enhances patient and client comfort. The winner in this category is Nueva Architecture for Face and Body Lab.

Apartment up to 60 sq.m

Compact living spaces require a thoughtful approach to planning and functionality. The winning interiors demonstrate intelligent use of space, efficient design solutions and a sense of openness and comfort. First place went to Motif Architecture for the ML Apartment.

Apartment over 60 sq.m

Larger living spaces offer greater opportunities to express individual style. The winning projects are characterised by a harmonious layout, attention to detail, and a balanced combination of aesthetics and practicality. The first prize was awarded to dontDIY for Apartment K07.

Family House

This category is for homes with a distinctly personal approach to architecture and interior design. The winning projects present sustainable and functional solutions, combined with comfort and aesthetic completeness. First place was awarded to Simple Architecture for Villa Bianca.

Future Initiatives

Dibla will continue to support the development of interior design in Bulgaria through initiatives that inspire, stimulate creativity, and promote Bulgarian design on the international stage. The success of the Dibla Design Awards 2024 is further proof that the industry is dynamic, evolving, and brimming with talented professionals who deserve recognition.
